The Infrequent Mystery Shopping Student
I received a call last year from someone interested in mystery shopping. That person found my information through this page. How flattering that someone would call me to find out about mystery shopping!
I was at first.
When she called last December I took nearly an hour talking to her about MSing. I told her I would post a lot of links that I would recommend to anyone interested in MSing on this site. I made sure to describe the tell-tale signs of MSing scams & to never pay. I offered her a discount on my online class in MSing and posted it here. Ahhh, the feel of Good Karma right before the winter holidays……
Well, she never visited my site, but that was okay because I did my good deed and if she didn’t follow up on it that was her decision.
She called again a few months ago when I was at the height of frenzy over a big household move. I found the time, another hour, to return her calls, twice, and told her I would again post information for her. Still she did not look at the post or follow-up on my offer of a discount in my class.
So when she called (marking the call urgent) this week wanting “to speak to you about your mystery shopping experience again, just to make sure this is on the up and up” I am just mad.
She had just signed up on Volition and “just enrolled in the program, and hopefully I will get response” - yeah, let Ray welcome her to wonderful world of MSing.
I’ve done my part.
At least I know she won’t read this.
