I am stepping back up to pace….

Filed under: — site admin @ 9:05 pm

Wow, only two weeks since my last post….(I feel like I shoudl apologize….to my ONE reader?!?)

I am immersed in the thesis that I need to make the salary I will receive down south just above the considered slavery wage….I have only put it off for three years, so I should e able to whip it out without major cardiovascular trama, right?

Along the theme of procrstination that I have going here, guess what I forgot about? Some shops….ooops! I knew there was a reason I wasn’t taking any! I am recently a new member of the Idiot’s Club & we can’t be bothered to keep track of our own obligations, so, there you are…..how silly of Mintel to expect me to remember my own appointments! Well, they realized their error and sent me an extention on my assignments. Well, ahem, yes, that’s more like it, isn’t it? (Ever felt embarrassed in a dark room by yourself? That’s how it felt!)

Maybe by July I will have my spreadsheet up for 2006, but don’t place any bets on it yet folks! I will be gettign used to my news house, region and trying not to get an accent!

Where Have I BEEN?

Filed under: — site admin @ 5:39 pm

Sorry to disappoint, no alien abductions, but maybe I will still serve to amuse you.

I have completed less than a dozen mystery shops so far this year.
The reasons include:
DH taking another job in GA - and I live in MI.
(I do have some mental backlog that includes a MSP not knowing that “MI” is Michigan, not Massachusetts)
I want to get my thesis (paper for Masters Degree) done now, suddenly after three years of time.
I have started looking for jobs down there - interviewing, mailing/emailing, (harassing) and whatnot.
(Really I had to go down because he bought a house & I was insane to see it)

I have missed a crazy amount of stuff including some huge news from fellow MI MSers.
I’ve got to get back in the saddle, as Steven would say (of course Steven Tyler).

At least I have not been gone as long as Melanie Jordan.

Although I am not accepting many assignments, I check out the GA listings now even more closely than the MI (not Massachusetts) listsings!
