Your lack of planning or mine?

I completed two shops 10 and 11 days ago. I submitted them before I went to bed that evening. These shops were 7 and 6 days early. Two weeks later I receive two emails - each on a separate day. I needed to reformat the narrative in my reports. I wasn’t completing any shops at that time so I did not check my email on the day I revceived the first email. The second email WAS CAPS - I WAS BEING YELLED AT! I understand the constraints of a scheduler, I acknowledge I used the improper tense in two sections. However, I turned it in early and it had been the same tense right along - I guess this really is a just-in-time business! Schedulers, NO YELLING, especially at people who have taken care of their work early to help the MS Co..

Yeah - more Gold Shoppers!

…as posted by the MSPA on a popular forum…
“Since November of 2002, we have seen 2035 shoppers successfully complete the MSPA Gold Certification course! Congratulations to all of you and thanks for your interest and excitement in the program!

We are trying something new this year, and going to “smaller” markets where shoppers have asked us to come. We may or may not have member companies in attendance, as there are many of these cities that are not anywhere near any of our member companies, but we are following your lead and coming where you’ve asked us to come!”

As one of 2035 Gold Certified shoppers, and one that lives outside the major cities the MSPA has traditionally held conferences in, this is bad news.
Of course, just more shoppers would be considered bad news, but now if the workshop comes to them and the shoppers do not have to travel to it - there will be an increase! Good news for the MSPA, selling workshops, providing a more consistantly trained work force to their member companies - but not for me. I took the 2-3 hour trip to get certified from my home, I was one of a handful that were certified in my area; maybe not for long.
