Too Clean?

Filed under: — site admin @ 7:37 am

I have five shops today that require me to ship an empty box.
And of course I just threw out all my old shoe boxes last Sunday.

Is this an emergency? Should I go buy more shoes so as to have enough boxes?
And would those shoes be tax-deductible?

Harassing the Scheduler

Filed under: — site admin @ 9:47 pm

Do you know how sometimes shops sit out there on SASSIE sites even after the due date has passed?
Well, I spotted a easy shop that was near my job . I signed up for it and immediately emailed the scheduler that I could complete the shop on such & such date and report it no later than blah, blah. She responded and said that was great.
For three days the shop sat in my applications as pending. The morning of the shop I emailed her and asked if I was scheduled for the shop. She said yes, but the status never changed. Well, maybe she doesn’t realize I am asking for her to put it into scheduled so I can download the paperwork. I emailed her again (feeling like a pain in the butt) and asked her to display the paperwork in my log. I did not get a response and now work was over. I had to do the shop now or go home and kill the convience factor for which I had originally signed up.
I had completed a similar shop a week ago & could only hope this was the same as I downloaded last week’s paperwork to have in the car. I completed the shop and came home and emailed her again that I had completed the shop and needed to enter the data. Two hours later I was able to enter the data. I have never had to work so hard to complete such an easy shop!

MSPA Certification Code

Filed under: — site admin @ 8:33 pm

I recently changed the email where I receive Mystery Shopping correspondence. When that happens you have to apply to the MSPA for new Silver/Gold certification codes. I did so and have a gold code that starts with 1 and ends with l. Anybody see the problem I had when I first started re-entering my email/code on more than one hundred sites? yep…. I entered the characters both as 1. The font that MSPA uses on the certificate I was reissued was impossible to tell the 1 from the l. When I emailed them that my code was being rejected they emailed me back pointing out the difference, but of course, I had already being tapping away on my keyboard for hours.

Submitted, but will it be Rejected?

Filed under: — site admin @ 9:55 pm

The wrong location shop I did the other day was for the Big Company with the Help Desk. I submitted what I could and even scanned in my receipt (yeah….from the wrong location….an effort to prove I am stupid, but not a ‘flake?’).
So far the status is “Submitted,” but I am worried it will soon turm to “Rejected.”

Wrong Location..Dang it!

Filed under: — site admin @ 8:23 am

Oh this is a bad feeling…I shopped the wrong location and did not realize it until I started reporting today.
I have shopped the wrong location before, but noticed on my way home and was able to turn around and go back to the proper place and redo the shop.
No such luck this time. I am outside of the the window for shopping and have just realized my mistake while reporting this morning. Dang it!
I offered the shop information to the company, but I am sure they will not want it.
Well, I had a good run there for awhile with no such faux pas!

Wearing Tie Dye….Didn’t think that through….

Filed under: — site admin @ 6:25 pm

Fridays are Spirit Days at my school, we wear anything with the school logo and jeans. Today I sported a tie dyed sweatshirt supporting one of the the school teams.
And then I went on a shop.
I had to lug a heavy item around until someone offered a cart (luckily under two minutes). I had to keep my jacket zipped up the whole time for fear of sticking out with my psychedelic shirt!
Either no more shops on Friday or I will actually have to start planning my wardrobe around mystery shopping!
